Calling all party animals and pup-parents! Put your fur-babies best costumes on because on Saturday October 29, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. the Emanuel County Humane Society will be hosting the coolest paw-ty of the season, Barkfest! Barkfest will be held at the Swainsboro Dog Park, located next to Harmon Park, and will include multiple fun activities and events so you’re sure to have a doggone good time! Some of the main attractions will be doggy demonstrations from trained search and rescue police dogs, a licensed groomer, and Tractor Supply who will have a dog-approved booth with an assortment of treats and toys. But that’s not all! Make sure your pups are dressed in their best because there will also be a costume contest and a doggy pageant where two beautiful pups will be crowned as Mr. and Mrs. Barkfest 2022! To attend, dogs must be on their leashes when outside of the dog park or if they’re around games or vendors. Be sure to look out for the signs all over town and mark your calendars for Barkfest!
