Luke Scarboro and his loyal friend Buddy are getting ready to welcome the New Year. Luke, age 5, is a student at Swainsboro Pre K. Buddy, a gentle stray Bulldog, wandered into the Scarboro family’s life many years ago and has been part of their home ever since. Luke is the son of Scrap Scarboro of Swainsboro and Heather Scarboro of Nunez.
The staff of The Forest Blade would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the support you have shown us throughout 2025. We wish each of you a very Happy New Year—may it bring new adventures, joyful moments, and abundant blessings.
The Forest Blade will be closed on Thursday, January 1, in observance of New Year’s Day.
