Come spend a Happy Hour (or two) with The Savannah Sipping Society, a comedy in Two Acts by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten. The shows in Twin City's Emanuel County Institute's auditorium are Saturday, September 16, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 17, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $1 for eighteen and under. Tickets will be available in person at the door on show dates beginning one hour before show time.

Director Donna Hooley said the show "features veteran actors and crew who have performed together in numerous shows, both in Statesboro and in Twin City. We are excited about our shows this month in Twin City."

In the play, four women bond over six months, drawn together by a chance meeting and an impromptu Happy Hour. Together, they move beyond their individual setbacks and reclaim the enthusiasm for life they've lost. Play casts are: Julie Moody as Jinx; Eileen Bayens as Dottie; Nichole Deal as Randa and Pam Baggett as Marla Faye.

All proceeds benefit ECI's One Act drama program. This is a D.H. & D.H. Production, presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
