Gregory Leonard Chance, 60, passed away June 24, 2021. Graveside service was held Saturday, July 3, at 11 a.m. in the Stillmore City Cemetery with Elder Delmus G. Mosley as Eulogist.
Mr. Chance was born to the Christine Perry Chance and late Bobby Sr of Brunswick. He attended Glynn County School system and graduated from Truett McConnell College in Cleveland with an associate’s degree in Business. Mr. Chance was also certified in Heating & Air Conditioning Repair. Later in life, he made his living as a commercial truck driver, and was well known for his carpentry skills, but most of all for his quick wit and wonderful laugh. Mr. Chance met the love of his life, Cindy Renee Marsh, in June 2008 and they married January 16, 2015.
Mr. Chance leaves to cherish his memories with his wife; stepdaughter, Rayvan Danole Marsh of Stillmore; stepsons, Rashon Untario Marsh and Tyrone Carswell, Jr, both of Swainsboro; his mother; gradndaughters, Hazel “Tootie: Marsh, Aspen “Penny” Carswell, Ari Rayne Carswell, and Aroya NiZae Cook; sisters, Dorothy (Morris) Campbell of Marietta and Cynthia “Cell” Holsey of Ellenwood; brother, Bobby Chance Jr. of Dublin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
