11 indicted by grand jury

The Emanuel County Grand Jury convened Tuesday, July 16, for its July 2019 term. At this hearing, 11 bills of indictment involving 12 defendants were presented. The grand jury returned true bills on the submitted 11, and are as follows:

Tony Lenard Williams— one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to participate in an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity,  one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to acquire money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity, three counts violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act—Sale of cocaine, one count violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act—Trafficking in cocaine, two counts malice murder, two counts felony murder, four counts aggravated assault, and four counts possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

Travis Lee Brown— one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to participate in an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity and one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to acquire money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity.

Talik Reaun Williams— one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to participate in an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity,  one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to acquire money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity, 17 counts violation of street gang terrorism and prevention act, two counts malice murder, two counts felony murder, four counts aggravated assault, four counts possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, and one count escape.

Nishawn Jermaine Brown— one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to participate in an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity,  one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to acquire money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity, eight counts violation of street gang terrorism and prevention act, one count malice murder, one count felony murder, two counts aggravated assault, and two counts possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

Richard Curry Anderson— one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to participate in an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity,  one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to acquire money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity, eight counts ounts violation of street gang terrorism and prevention act, one count malice murder, one count felony murder, two counts aggravated assault, and two counts possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

Victor Jaamal Hall a.k.a. Victor Jones— one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to participate in an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity,  one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to acquire money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity, four counts violation of street gang terrorism and prevention act, one count affray, and one count tampering with evidence.

Walter Lee Figueroa— one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to participate in an enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity,  one count violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—Conspiracy to acquire money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity, one count violation of street gang terrorism and prevention act, and one count entering automobile.

Dustin Allen Sikes— one count theft by taking, one count aggravated assault, one count kidnapping.

Darrian James Worthen— one count possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, one count possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, one count possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), and one count obstruction of an officer.

Quinton Jabriel Davis— one count possession of a schedule II controlled substance, one count possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and one count theft by receiving stolen property.

Taqunna Ronessa Thomas— one count aggravated assault.

Traavis Devon Patterson— one count financial transaction card theft and two counts financial transaction card fraud.

Phillip Samuel Jones— one count aggravated assault, three counts aggravated stalking, and one count burglary in the first degree.

Patrick Lerunn Marion— one count aggravated assault and one count theft by receiving stolen property.

Michael Derek Fiels and Fitzgerald Kennedy Ingram Jr.— one count theft by receiving stolen property and one count theft by taking.

Shanterial Tyneash Wilcher— one count cruelty to a child in the first degree.

Derric Kayrun Smiley— one count criminal attempt to commit a felony and two counts aggravated assault.
