2 Corinthians 4:12 – 13: So, we live in the face of death, but this has resulted in eternal life for you. But we continue to preach because we have the same kind of faith the psalmist had when he said, I believed in God, so I spoke.
Paul, the great missionary, was just a man. He was a man with a calling from God. He was called to preach the gospel and most places ran him out for preaching. He resonates with David by what David said in Psalms, " I believe in God so I speak!" Can you say this?
Paul went through some trying times where he nearly lost his life on several occasions. David was in many places he could have died easily, but God protected him and delivered him until the day of his death.
Do you feel as bold as these mighty men of God or do you cower down because you're afraid of what people might think of you? Are you bold as a lion, because your faith in God is strong? We should have this kind of faith - to be able to face all adversity and believe in God so much so that nothing will keep us from sharing His gospel. After all, we are His ambassadors!
