Gladys Denise Lockett Rollins, age 63, gained her wings on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Well Star MCG Health Center in Agusta after fighting a strong and courageous battle with illness. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m. at the Twin City Auditorium with Pastor Christpher L. Howard officiating and Pastor Jennie Rollins presiding.
Gladys was born January 9, 1963, in Swainsboro, to Julia Ruthe Bell (Webb) Lockett and the late Thomas Lee Lockett, Jr. She joined Smith Grove Baptist Church at a young age. Gladys later married the late Pastor Dewayne Milton Rollins and joined Hope Community Baptist Church. Mrs. Rollins is preceded in death by her father; and loving husband.
Mrs. Rollins leaves to cherish her memories with her loving mother; daughter, Katrena Hughes; sons, Keon Hughes and Rodney Parrish (Lakeisha), a;; of Swainsboro; stepdaughter, Tanaychea Groer Mosley (Bobby) of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Regina Stokes, Carolyn Lockett, both of Swainsboro, and Angie Danford (Clarence) of Warner Robins; brothers, Carl Lockett of Macon and Thomas Lee Lockett III of Birmingham, AL; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
