Swainsboro High School recently recognized ninth and tenth-grade students for academic achievement during the school’s annual honors program.
10th-grade students were awarded certificates for participating in the first year of classes at EDGE College & Career Academy: Sophia Adams, Makenzie Barber, Domonique Black, Zaylee Braddy, Christopher Breese, Lexi Brown, Kennedi Hancock, Aniya Jackson, Joshuah Mathews, Myli McCullough, Cleveland Phillips, Taylor Pinkston, Kelsey Saffore, Sara Smith, and Tate Torpy.
Students were recognized for participation on the Superintendent Student Advisory Council: Major Louis, Colton Sconyers, Vrusha Patel, Je’Ona Pearson, Tate Torpy, and McKinley Walden.
McKinley Walden was recognized for winning the 9th-grade level of the Young Georgia Authors writing competition.
