Franklin Memorial Library welcomes performer Chad Crews

Reminder, Franklin Memorial Library will be welcoming performer Chad Crews on Thursday, May 28, for two exciting shows! The first performance will begin at 10 a.m. with a second show at 2 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Between performances, guests can enjoy popcorn, lemonade, hot dogs and more while registering for the library’s Summer Reading Program (SRP). The program officially kicks off on Thursday, May 28, and will continue throughout the month of June. June is packed with crafts, performers and fun for all ages. Kicking off June’s lineup of performers will be Georgia Southern University Wildlife Center at 10 a.m. Patrons will not want to miss this exciting and educational experience. Every Monday, the library will host crafts at the Twin City Welcome Center at 10 a.m. while continuing to host Veterans Breakfast each Monday as well. Every Tuesday will feature a special performer with times varying each week, so patrons are encouraged to pay close attention to announcements. Thursdays will be filled with crafts for all ages, including children’s craft sessions at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Every Friday, Toddler Time will continue at 10:30 a.m. Be sure to follow the library’s Facebook page for the most up-to-date information regarding June events and activities.
