The Franklin Memorial Library is set to host a series of community events to round off November and welcome December. Citizens are invited to participate in these activities to honor our veterans, engage in volunteer activities, improve math skills for children, and provide entertainment for toddlers, teens, adults and seniors. On November 27, the Veterans Breakfast will be hosted Simply Southern in Twin City at 9:15 a.m. This event is a gesture of appreciation and respect to our brave servicemen and servicewomen. On November 28, the library's Teen Advisory Board (TAB) will hold its monthly meeting at 4:30 p.m. The TAB provides a platform for teenagers to share their ideas and opinions on how to improve library services for their age group. It's a great opportunity for teens to contribute their thoughts, make new friends, and earn volunteer hours. The Crazy 8's Math Club will meet on November 30 at 4 p.m. The club aims to make math more engaging and fun for kids in 1st and 2nd grades. It's a unique platform where kids can build their math skills and have fun with numbers. The Crazy 8's Math Club turns math into a fun-filled, hands-on experience that kids will love. As we move into December, the library would like to remind everyone about the ongoing weekly event, Toddler Time, held on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Toddler Time is designed to introduce books to the youngest of readers and foster a love for reading. It includes stories, songs, and crafts to engage the children and stimulate their minds. We look forward to seeing you soon!
