Franklin Memorial Library to host young author book signing

Posted

Franklin Memorial Library is excited to welcome and host young author Elyce Gunn for a special book signing on Thursday, May 21, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The community is invited to attend and support this exciting milestone for a local young author.

A reminder that the library will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26, at 8 a.m. The Library Board Meeting will also take place that afternoon at 4 p.m.

Be sure to join us on Thursday, May 28, as performer Chad Crews returns to the library for two exciting shows at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Between performances, patrons are encouraged to register for the library’s Summer Reading Program, which is open to all ages. Participants will read books or track reading minutes throughout the summer to earn prizes. Each achievement gets readers closer to having their name placed into grand prize drawings for their age group. Grand prize winners will be announced and contacted in mid-July 2026.
