Happening today, April 29, at 3:30 p.m., the library will host Kid’s History Club, led by Regional Genealogy and Local History Coordinator Kaitlyn Capper. The program is recommended for children ages 6–11, though all children are welcome to attend. A Ceramic Sandcastle Painting Workshop will be held Thursday, April 30 at 6 p.m. This event is currently full, and participants who are unable to attend are encouraged to notify the library so another family may have the opportunity to join.
Please take note that the library will be closed this Saturday, May 2, for the Pine Tree Festival. Be sure to look for library staff in the parade! The library will reopen with normal hours on Monday, May 4, at 8 a.m.
May also marks the beginning of early registration for the Summer Reading Program, which will begin mid-to-late May. Preparations are already underway, and many patrons may have noticed the decorations throughout the library hinting at this year’s exciting theme—DINOSAURS! More details will be shared soon!
