Franklin Memorial Library has several exciting activities planned for the community throughout October. The winners of the Halloween Coloring & Poem Contest will be announced on the library’s Facebook page on October 8. All entries will be displayed at the library, giving the community an opportunity to enjoy the creativity of local participants.
Please note that the library will close at 4 p.m. today, October 7, for a staff meeting. Tomorrow, October 8, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Franklin Memorial Library will host its annual Trunk or Treat. Families are invited to come out for an afternoon of Halloween fun at the library. Community participation is welcome! Businesses, clubs, and organizations interested in attending are encouraged to contact Kayla at the library for more information.
The library will also host an Art Festival on Tuesday, October 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. This is a drop-in event, and everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy a variety of crafts suitable for all ages.
