Franklin Memorial Library events for this week

Posted

The Franklin Memorial Library is announcing its September 6 through 9 schedule, which includes special events, a staff meeting, and changes in operating hours. On September 6, the library staff will gather for a meeting to discuss upcoming events and ways to better serve the community. Therefore, the Library will open later than the usual hours. The exact timing will be shared on our website and social media platforms. The library still has "Toddler Time," an educational program designed specifically for young kids. Mrs. Shari Watt, an experienced early childhood educator, will be leading this program. The Storytime and crafts will be held on Friday, September 8th at 8:30 am. On September 9th, at 10 am, the library invites grandparents and their grandkids for a special breakfast and craft event. This event will provide a fun and engaging opportunity for grandparents to bond with their grandchildren over breakfast and a craft activity. We would like to say a big thank you to Mrs. Tammy Allan, Director of Emanuel County Family Connection, for partnering with us in this event. Mrs. Tammy will graciously provide breakfast for our grandparents and their grandchildren on this day.

The library is also excited to announce a book sale this month, offering a wide range of books at reduced prices. This is a great opportunity for book lovers to expand their personal libraries while supporting Franklin Memorial Library. To celebrate the arrival of the fall season, the library will also host a Fall Festival. The festival will feature numerous fun-filled activities for the community to enjoy. More details about the event will be announced soon. Stay tuned to our website and social media channels for future announcements and updates regarding the library’s events and schedules.
