Mrs. Faye Hall Morris, 87, of Kite, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Greenwood Place Assisted Living in Wrightsville following an extended illness. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 18, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Mr. Randy Buxton officiating. Interment followed in Kite City Cemetery. The family received friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday, August 18, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were William Franklin, Jerry Hall, Dylan Hall, Eric Hammock, and Braylon Roberson.
Mrs. Morris was born February 7, 1935, in Wrightsville, to Grady Hall and Mattie Lou Logue Hall. She loved keeping children and was a mother to many. Faye loved to cook and was the glue that held her family together. She was a member of Kite Church of God for over 30 years. Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harrison Morris; and brothers, Jewell Hall and Alden Hall.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her sons, Larry Morris (Janis) and Phil Morris (Jennifer), both of Kite; daughter, Patricia Claxton of Kite; grandchildren, Crystal Hammock (Eric), Nichole Evans (Michael), Stefany Franklin (William), Rhiana Morris, and Charlie Morris; sisters, Nell Davis of Kite and Barbara Wilson of Swainsboro; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
