The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 8 a.m. with a farewell breakfast for Mr. Mason Henry at the Central Office. The board meeting started promptly at 8:30 a.m. with the following members in attendance: John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Cherie Hooks, Johnny Parker, and Sandra Swinney. Absent was Tanya Lane. Vice Chairman Johnny Parker welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order and delivered the invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The agenda was approved as presented.
