EZ Riders M/C brings Christmas joy

Posted

Once again, the EZ Riders M/C brought joy and laughter to the residents in Long Term Care facility the weekend of December 16. We were fortunate to visit Orchard Health and Rehab and Senior Living in Pulaski. The residents were happy to have us with them to celebrate some Christmas joy. We gave all the residents a fruit basket and socks to all of them that was able to receive them. We sang Christmas carols and they joined in with us. We also sang some gos-pel songs that brought inspiration to all of them. They were so glad we showed them love be-cause in some instances, it seems love has been forgotten.

We also visited Twin View Health Care in Twin City. The weather was cold and wet but that didn’t stop the joy and laughter that was shared at Twin View. We sang songs to the residents, and that made them feel good, but the best part of the whole evening was them singing to us. If you could have only seen how excited they were to sing songs to us. It uplifted all our hearts to see them perform for us. They also received fruit baskets and socks.

EZ Riders is a non-profit organization and we look forward to doing this each year. We would like to thank WalMart for their support each year in this endeavor.

This year, we sold tickets as a Christmas fundraiser for a chance to win a 70” TV. The drawing was held December 9, and the lucky winner was Jeanette Gibson from Candler County.
