Mrs. Evelene B. Jackson, age 66, was called from her earthly home on Thursday, October 27, 2023. Funeral servce was held Sunday, October 28, at 12 p.m. at Swainsboro City Cemetery.
Evelene was born February 22, 1957, to the late Frank N. Harper and Bobbie Lee Harper. She graduated from Swainsboro High School Class of 1977. Mrs. Evelene was member of Ohoopee Grove Baptist Church and served faithfully on the usher board until her health declined. In 2010, Mrs. Evelene married her high school sweetheart, Michael Jackson. She enjoyed spending time with her family and most of all, she loved attending any family gathering/party. Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Deloris Whitehead; brothers, Kennedy Lewis harper and Lee Marvin Harper.
Mrs. Jackson leaves to cherish her memories with her loving husband; daughter, Bobbielene Harper; son, Nathaniel Harper; sisters, Barbara Harper (Louis) and Juanita V. Merrion (DeWayne); brothers, Jesse Brown Jr and Clayton Brown; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two aunts; special friend; and a host of nieces, nephews and many other loved ones.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
