CSRA EOA, INC. LIHEAP (Energy Assistance Program) for senior citizens is scheduled to begin accepting phone calls for appointments in Emanuel County on December 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. If you schedule an appointment outside of your county of residence, or if you do not qualify, your appointment will be canceled without any notice.
You must have an appointment. NO WALK-INS. For appointments, call the Emanuel County Senior Center at (478) 237-5434.
Please remember that phone lines will be answered as quickly as possible to schedule appointments, however, it may require more than one attempt to be answered due to limited staff answering multiple lines. Also, please note that a limited number of appointments are ONLY available by phone call and are on a “first come first serve basis.”
All applicants must be 65 years of age or older (everyone in the household must be 65 years or older), or medically homebound.
Items need for appointment:
• Photo IDs for all household members 18 years & older
• Social Security cards for ALL household members
• Proof of income for the past 30 days for all household members (NO BANK STATEMENTS)
• Most recent electric and gas bill
