Emanuel County Schools recognizes School Board Appreciation Week

Each year, districts across Georgia recognize School Board Appreciation Week to honor the leadership and service of local board members. In Emanuel County, we value those who guide our schools and help shape public education. Emanuel County Schools recognizes School Board Appreciation Week ~ March 8-14.

School board members are elected to provide vision, ensure accountability, and make decisions that impact students, families, educators, and taxpayers. Their work requires careful study, sound judgment, and an unwavering commitment to student success.

“At the heart of every strong school system is a committed board that leads with vision and puts students first,” said Superintendent Dr. Denise Warnock. “Our Emanuel County Board of Education approaches every decision with integrity, thoughtful consideration, and a deep commitment to the success of every child.”

At Emanuel County Schools, our mission is to prepare and inspire all students for college and career success through personalized learning and relevant experiences. The Board of Education strengthens this mission through effective governance, oversight, and advocacy. Budget stewardship, policy development, and long-range planning keep our district focused on opportunity, excellence, and continuous improvement.

During School Board Appreciation Week, we invite our community to join us in thanking these individuals for their vision, dedication, and lasting impact on Emanuel County students. Their service strengthens our schools and our community.
