Emanuel County Schools has been selected to receive a Teaching and Learning Opportunity Grant from the Georgia Department of Education. As a part of this grant, three schools - Swainsboro Elementary School, Swainsboro Middle School and Twin City Elementary School - have been awarded the Mathematics Manipulatives and Materials Grant. The grant amounts to $11,639 and will help promote interactive and high-quality mathematics instruction aligned with the new K-12 math standards for ECS students. With this grant, students can work with manipulatives, explore real-life situations, and solve problems, all while enhancing their math skills.
