ECI Senior Beta members attended the Georgia State Beta Convention in Savannah where they participated in two full days of academic and artistic competitions, sightseeing, and networking with students from across the state.
Several students earned top placements in their respective events: Lawson Frye placed 2nd in Division 1 Speech, 5th in Digitally Enhanced Photography, and 5th in 10th Grade ELA. Amelia Meadows earned 5th in Division 1 Quilling; Bowen Ware took 1st in Division 1 Sculpture; and Erin Stanford was recognized as Premier Dancer.
As a result of their impressive accomplishments, these achievements qualify the students to advance to the National Beta Convention, scheduled for the summer of 2026 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to the award winners, other members attending the conference were Dawson Goodman, Wendell Coleman, Jackson Cavannah, Angel Morales, Jacob Hughes, Lola Walden, and Brodee Cate Johnson.
