The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Office with the following members in attendance: Elizabeth DeVane, John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Brandon Jones and Cherie Hooks. Tanya Lane and Jeanette Harden were not present. Board Chair Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. Brandon Jones delivered the invocation followed by John Allen Bailey leading the Pledge of Allegiance. John Allen Bailey made a motion to approve the agenda. Brandon Jones seconded the motion. Elizabeth DeVane, John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Brandon Jones and Cherie Hooks voted “yes”. CARRIED.
