The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Office with the following members in attendance: John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Brandon Jones, Jeanette Harden and Cherie Hooks. Tanya Lane and Elizabeth DeVane were not present. Board Chair Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. John Allen Bailey delivered the invocation followed by Cherie Hooks leading the Pledge of Allegiance. John Allen Bailey made a motion to approve the agenda. Brandon Jones seconded the motion. John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Brandon Jones, Jeanette Harden and Cherie Hooks voted “yes”. CARRIED.
