The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the County Office with the following members in attendance: Tanya Lane, John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Jeanette Harden, Brandon Jones and Cherie Hooks. Elizabeth DeVane was not present. Board Chair Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. John Allen Bailey made a motion to approve the agenda. Cherie Hooks seconded the motion. Tanya Lane, John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Jeanette Harden, Brandon Jones and Cherie Hooks voted “yes”. CARRIED.
