The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Monday, August 24, at 8:30 a.m. at Emanuel County Board of Education with the following members in attendance: Tanya Lane, Elizabeth DeVane, John Allen Bailey, Jeanette Harden and Cherie Hooks. Del Brown and Brandon Jones were not present. Board Vice Chair John Allen Bailey welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. Cherie Hooks made a motion to approve the agenda. Jeanette Harden seconded the motion. Tanya Lane, Elizabeth DeVane, John Allen Bailey, Jeanette Harden and Cherie Hooks voted “yes”. CARRIED.
