The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the Central Office with the following members in attendance: John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Jeanette Harden and Cherie Hooks. Tanya Lane, Elizabeth DeVane and Brandon Jones were not present. Board Chair Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. John Allen Bailey made a motion to approve the agenda. Cherie Hooks seconded the motion. John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Jeanette Harden, and Cherie Hooks voted “yes”. CARRIED.
