The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Monday, April 13, at 5:30 p.m. at Swainsboro High School with the following members in attendance: Tanya Lane, John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Jeanette Harden, Brandon Jones and Cherie Hooks. Elizabeth DeVane was not present. Board Chair Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. Jeanette Harden delivered the invocation followed by Cherie Hooks leading the Pledge of Allegiance. John Allen Bailey made a motion to approve the agenda. Jeanette Harden seconded the motion. Tanya Lane, John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Jeanette Harden, Brandon Jones and Cherie Hooks voted “yes”. CARRIED.
