The Emanuel Artists Guild held its first art exhibition in the Kalmanson Gallery of Emanuel Arts Council with an opening reception on March 21. Contributing artists were Mel Cartaya, Joan Dunn, John Dunn, Ron Ellison, Mark Lillquist, Jen Meadows, Candy Powers, Desmal Purcell, David Strickland, Dianna Wedincamp, Kim Youmans, and Syvetta Young. Many guests enjoyed the event with refreshments provided by the Guild. The next exhibition featuring artwork by the Guild will be at East Georgia Healthcare in May.
