Mr. Eddie Lumpkin, 75, of Adrian, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness. Memorial service will be private at a later date.
Mr. Lumpkin was born September 12, 1945, to the late Morris Lumpkin and Elnor Atkins Lumpkin. He loved spending time with his great-grandchildren, and was a junk and old antique collector. Mr. Lumpkin is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Ann Morrison; and brothers, J.L. Lumpkin and Roy Lumpkin.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Margie Lumpkin of Adrian; son, Ricky Lumpkin of Dublin; grandchildren, Heather (Shon) Wiley of Dublin and Justin Lumpkin of Adrian; brothers, Johnny Lumpkin and Jimmy Lumpkin (Patricia), both of Soperton, Fred Lumpkin of Adrian; great-grandchildren, Brack Fagler, Brody Fagler, Landon Lumpkin, and Laken Lumpkin; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
