The following individuals have active Superior Court bench warrants. These warrants do not expire. The individuals listed were granted a bond by a Superior Court Judge or Magistrate Court Judge. A family member, friend or bondsperson signed the bond allowing them to be released from jail and guaranteeing the individual would return for court. When this individual did not honor their commitment and fled, the amount listed below their name is due to the court. A lien is placed on this person’s property and must be settled either by paying or by Sheriff’s Sale of the property. All warrants are entered into the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) and the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). The Emanuel County Sheriffs Office gave the following statement:
“When you are traveling you stand the potential of being carried to jail wherever you may be. You will stay in jail until we have the opportunity to go get you. This may be hours or weeks depending on the situation. If you would like to resolve this matter, present yourself to the Sheriff’s Office.”
