May 26

Deputies were dispatched to Singh Food Mart in reference to an active armed robbery. Complainant/store clerk advised she had been robbed by a male holding a kitchen knife in both hands. C/p described the intruder and what he was wearing. C/p stated when the intruder entered the store, she was sweeping near the cash register and did not see or hear the intruder when he entered the store but when she turned around, he was standing next to her and forced her at knife point to walk to the rear of the counter and remove all cash from the register. The amount taken was appx. $1,540. After taking the money, the intruder exited the building. After watching the store’s surveillance camera, it was determined that the intruder walked in an eastward direction and turned north behind the store. ECSO K-9 unit attempted to track the suspect but was lost north of the rear of the store near the storage units where it appeared a vehicle had been parked.

Deputy met with complaint at ECSO for a report.

Deputy took a walk-in report at ECSO in reference to a lost tag.

Complainant contacted ECSO to report a theft on Egret Dr. C/p stated she met with both suspects in the yard and after a short time, she left both men outside. C/p stated one suspect stayed at the house for a short time until May 25 and had been asked to leave by the owner. C/p advised she woke up to find both men inside the house removing items from her bedroom, along with property from other parts of the house. C/p stated she got out of bed and saw both men leaving the area in a truck and walked around the house and noticed a lot of items missing. C/p noticed the rear window of the house owner’s truck had been broken out and it appeared that someone had syphoned the gas out of it.

Deputy was dispatched to Sam Wood Rd. to meet with complainant. C/p stated he thought a named male subject dumping limbs and debris on a road entering his property blocking the roadway.

Deputy received a report from complainant advising that the victim left Price Williams Rd. around 3 a.m. and he suffers from mental illness and takes medication and had not taken his medicine since he left. C/p stated the victim has the mental capacity of a 12 yo and can become violent towards himself and others. C/p also advised that she received a phone call from the victim at 2 p.m. and advised he was located on at the Chevron Food Mart in Covington. C/p advised when they arrived at the store, they were told the victim had been there and was last seen around 4:30 p.m. walking towards the interstate. C/p stated he may be trying to get back to CA.

May 27

Deputies responded to Hwy 1 North in reference to a possible hostage situation involving the caller being held at gun point by a firearm. Deputies made contact with the female subject/victim who stated the caller, later identified as offender, walked over to her and began talking to her while she was sorting through her storage unit. Victim stated she asked offender if he would let her use the bathroom in his house and he stated yes and walked her over to his residence. Victim then stated when she got back to her storage unit, offeneder asked her for a hug and grabbed her butt. Victim stated she told offender that was enough, and he was making her feel uncomfortable and he walked around the building and headed back into his residence. Deputies then walked to offender’s residence and made contact with offender who came to the door with an open knife. Deputies gave him verbal commands to close the knife and offender stated he was scared of the female’s boyfriend who had supposedly threatened him with a firearm. Deputies placed offender under arrest and transported him to EmCo Jail and advised jail staff that offender was supposed to have someone transport him back to Macon and to release him if someone arrived to pick him up. Victim declined to pursue criminal action due to his mental state.

Deputy was dispatched to EMC ER in reference to transporting an inmate to EmCo Jail. Deputy was informed that they wanted a report in reference to the inmate/offender damaging the ER restroom. Offender was charged with damage to property and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy was dispatched to Long Bay Dr. in Twin City in reference to a civil dispute about a trailer. Suspects stated that complainant keeps riding by their home harassing them about a trailer that she believes is hers. Deputy spoke with c/p who stated she believes the trailer belongs to her has a hand- written bill of sale that seemed forged. Deputy informed her that this is a civil matter and needed to be handled in civil court.

Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 80 East in Twin City to help assist TCPD with a wanted suspect. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

May 28

Deputies were dispatched to Lambs Bridge Rd. in reference to a report of someone being followed.

Deputy responded to Old Nunez Rd. in reference to a possible burglary. While enroute, 911 advised that complainant arrived home and observed an open door on her residence. Deputy and SPD officers entered the home and cleared it. Law enforcement returned to the c/p and advised that no one was in the residence. C/p walked through her residence and advised nothing appeared to have been taken. It was determined that c/p failed to secure her home when she left.

Deputy observed offender with no visible tag lights and failure to maintain lane on Thigpen Dr., at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Offender could not speak English, but it was determined that he did not have a valid driver license. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy responded to Hwy 192 South in reference to a tree in the roadway. The tree was able to be removed and roadway cleared.

May 29

Deputies were dispatched to Lee Ln. in reference to a missing person.

Deputy responded to the Chevron Station in reference to an unwanted person. Deputy spoke with offender who stated complainant told him he was not allowed back at the store, but he spoke with the owner of the store who said to give officers his information to call. C/p then made contact with deputy and explained that offender had been told several times not to return to the store by himself due to spinning tires and erratic driving in the parking lot. Deputy then contacted the owner who stated the same thing as c/p. Offender was then told by deputy to leave the store and not return at the owner’s request. Offender requested a copy of a trespass form and was informed how to get it.

May 30

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Mike’s Food Mart for failing to stop at a stop sign.

Deputies were dispatched to Hey 192 North inn reference to a residential alarm. Residence was found to be secure with no signs of tamper or forced entry.

Deputy met with complainant at ECSO about a report.

Motorist was assisted with a locked vehicle on Rabbit Run.

Deputy observed a vehicle drive across the curb in Enmarket parking lot then exit and stop in the northbound lane of S. Main St. in front of another vehicle, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. A male subject exited the vehicle and appeared to be unsteady and leaned against his vehicle for balance control. Deputy approached the driver and asked how much he had to drink, and he replied two. Deputy then asked the driver for his license, and he stated he did not have any. Offender was then requested to give a breath sample which gave a positive result for alcohol. Offender was placed under arrest for DUI and driving without a valid license and transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer was traveling behind a vehicle traveling appx. 53 MPH then would drop to 48 MPH then speed back up. After a few times, deputy ran the tag to find it had suspended registration, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Upon deputy approaching the vehicle, he could smell a strong odor of marijuana. Deputy asked offender for her license and informed h er he could smell marijuana and she stated that she and her family had smoked about an hour prior. Deputy then asked if there was any marijuana in the vehicle and she informed him there was not. Deputy returned tohis unit and asked for back-up due to the vehicle being occupied by two people. The driver and passenger were asked to step out of the vehicle and deputy began a search to be told there was a little bit of marijuana under the seat. Deputy had already located a handbag under the seat and asked if it was in the bag and the driver informed it was. Deputy continued the search to find numerous black and clear bags with three containing marijuana and a bong in the back seat.

June 1

Deputy responded to Canoochee Rd. regarding a domestic dispute on Allen Dr. Complainant stated she and her boyfriend got into an argument that turned physical when offender jumped on her and began choking her. C/p stated offender did not stop choking her until he realized she could not breathe, and she has the altercation recorded and offender admitting to choking her. C/p also stated that offender tried to convince her not to call law enforcement, and this is not the first time they have had a physical altercation.

Deputies responded to Williams Rd. in reference to assist EMS with a choking victim. Complainant advised that the victim had been assaulted by the neighbor and victim is a cancer patient and has a trachea and could not communicate with deputies. C/p advised that she was not home at the time of the incident but advised the suspect was drunk and accusing victim of taking some money from him. Deputies made contact with the suspect who was highly intoxicated. Suspect denied any contact with the victim and kept going on about his landlord stealing from him. Victim was transported by EMS for evaluation.

June 2

Victim #1 stated offender is sending her and victim #2 threatening messages. Victim #1 and offender are married but separated and victim #1 is staying with the victim #2. Victims stated that offender states he is going to do bodily harm to victim #2, and offender rides by their house several times a day and night revving his motor. Victim #1 stated she believes offender is on meth and is possibly selling it.

Vehicle was left abandoned on I16 and towed.

Vehicle was left abandoned on Foskey Rd. for over two weeks and towed.

Deputy was dispatched to Buck Corbin Rd. in reference to a burglary.

Deputy stopped a vehicle on Herrington St. and offender was found to be wanted out of Toombs Co. Toombs Co. was contacted and wanted a hold placed. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

June 3

Deputy was called to Buck Corbin Rd. in reference to a burglary that occurred the day prior. Complainant stated she checked on the house earlier in the day and when she returned, she noticed the side door window had been busted and the door was open. The house is vacant with furniture stored inside. Deputy went inside and cleared the house and told c/p to check to see if anything was missing. C/p could not find anything missing inside or outside the residence.

Deputy was called to Hwy 56 North in reference to a fire. EmCo Fire Dept. was already on scene and had put the fire out. The porch had caught fire under the grill, causing damage to the porch and under pinning.

Deputy met with complainant on Hwy 46 East in reference to damage to property. C/p stated his wife caused the damage based on video from the home security camera that recorded the event. C/p stated that he and his wife are in the process of a divorce and a report was needed for court.

June 4

Deputy met with complainant on Lake Luck Dr. in reference to an unwanted person. C/p stated the suspect drove through a neighbor’s yard and then onto her yard. C/p stated she and suspect know each other and the incident ensued over a man.

Deputies were dispatched to Williams Rd. in reference to an unwanted person in their yard. C/p advised offender recently went to their resident and assaulted her husband and due to that incident, they do not want offender back at the residence. C/po stated offender walked to their residence and began knocking on the door before leaving. Deputies made contact with offender and advised him to stay away from c/p’s residence.

Deputies met with complainant at Five Points Grocery in reference suspect showing up at the store drunk and approached both c/p’s and attempted to fight the male c/p, and began using vulgar language towards the female c/p. Both c/p’s are familiar with the suspect and there have been previous incidents similar in nature when suspect is intoxicated. Suspect was GOA and c/p’s were advised of how to get a TPO.

Deputy made contact with complainant who advised he and his mother are being harassed by offender. C/p further advised offender has stolen property from him. C/p advised he wanted offender to leave him and his mother alone and stop going to their residence.

Deputy responded to Harmon Park in reference to a fight that occurred. Complainant showed deputy a video of three females engaged in a fight and the females were identified. Deputies made contact with the victim on Canady Ln. Victim stated everything was good and she was ok, and she does not want to pursue charges against offenders.

Deputies responded to Wadley Coleman Lake Rd. in reference to someone trespassing. Complainant explained the property is a hunting camp and someone had been caught on camera at the property. Deputies checked building on the property which appeared to be undisturbed.

Deputy was dispatched to Huckleberry Rd. in reference to a domestic dispute. Complainant stated his ex-girlfriend/offender moved out the day prior and went back and busted down his bedroom door because she thought he had another female in there with him. C/p stated offender should not be back on his property and he wants to press charges. Offender was GOA.
