June 12

Offender presented himself to ECSO for an outstanding warrant. Offender was taken into custody and transported EmCo Jail for an aggravated assault charge.

Vehicle was unlocked on Oak St. with no damage.

Deputies served a warrant on offender on Crump St. Offender was transporte3d to EmCo Jail.

Deputies made contact with offender on Davis Rd. Offender was placed under arrest for active warrants from Wayne County and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy attempted to locate a wanted person on Herrington St.

June 13

Deputy was dispatched to Meeks Rd. in reference to a report of fraudulent activity.

Motorists were assisted with a locked vehicle on Friendly Way.

Deputy met with complainant at ECSO in reference to a report of a possible forgery. C/p stated someone stole her checkbook from her residence in a neighboring county and forged her name on a check was processed at Piggly Wiggly in Twin City. C/p stated that as a result of the incident, a warrant was issued for her arrest. C/p stated the alleged suspect stayed at her residence prior to the incident.

Deputy stopped a vehicle on Hwy 46 for a suspended tag and no insurance. Upon speaking with the driver, she advised that she thought the vehicle was on fleet insurance. Offender’s boyfriend was contacted who stated the vehicle was on the company’s insurance policy and the driver provided an insurance card. Insurance was run through GCIC and GADOR to find there was no insurance on the vehicle. The tag was also expired and suspended for lapse in insurance coverage. The owner of the vehicle arrived and got an insurance agent on the phone who advised there was insurance on the vehicle and he did not know why it was showing that it was uninsured. The driver was released with a warning for the suspended tag.

Vehicle was found unoccupied and abandoned on the edge of Old McLeod Bridge Rd. with no valid insurance or registration. Vehicle was towed.

June 14

Deputies responded to Beagle Rd. in reference to a repo in progress and the homeowner was in the yard with a gun. TCPD was already on scene and deputy made contact with offender and asked for his identification. Offender advised that he saw someone on his cameras trying to take his wife’s truck and went outside with his firearm to confront them. Deputy confirmed with offender that he was aware that the vehicle was up for repossession, and he stated yes but they were. Going to call the bank to pick it up. Deputy advised offender and witness that the repossessing company does not have to make contact or notify them when they are going to get property. Complainant stated when he arrived and was in the process of hooking up the vehicle, offender went outside with a firearm. C/p stated that the witness tried to calm offender down, but he was threatening to shoot c/p’s truck tires. C/p also stated offender pointed the firearm at him while he was in his truck.

Deputies responded to Oak Park Hwy South in reference to a cow beside the roadway.

Deputy received a report from complainant advising that she was driving on Canoochee Rd. and swerved to avoid hitting a deer and lost control of her vehicle and struck some trees in the ditch. Vehicle sustained minor damage and c/p was ab le to drive the vehicle home with no injuries reported.

Deputy met with complainant on Hwy 192 North in reference to a traffic related accident. Complainant advised he struck a tree that fell across the road that caused disabling damage to the front end of his vehicle. Vehicle was recovered by a towing company for impound. No injuries were reported.

Deputy received a report from complainant advising that she was driving on Canoochee Rd. when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer and lost control and struck some trees in the ditch. Vehicle sustained minor damage and c/p was able to drive it home with no injuries.

June 15

Deputies responded to Hwy 192 South in reference to a domestic disturbance called in and reported by victim. Victim appeared shaken and frantic and stated she and suspect had gotten into a heated argument that turned physical. Victim stated the incident ensued over a text message that she received from her previous spouse and suspect grabbed her by her legs and snatched her from the couch and onto the floor and suspect choked her. Victim then stated she went to her car and was confronted by the suspect again and he punched the windshield of her vehicle and cracked it. Suspect was GOA and c/p did not want to press charges.

June 16

Deputy met with complainant at ECSO about his tag being missing.

Deputies were dispatched to Old Wadley Rd. in reference to a vehicle striking and busting a water line. Deputy spoke with the caller who advised the incident had been handled by herself and the subject that struck the line.

Deputy was dispatched to Old Wadley Rd. in reference to a residential alarm. Residence was checked and appeared to be secure with no signs or tamper or forced entry. Deputy did note that a window on the south side of the residence was opened halfway, and the screen appeared to be intact with no signs or tamper.

Deputy was dispatched to Nordson in reference to a vehicle unlock. Vehicle was unlocked with no damages.

Deputies were dispatched to Mitzi Ln. in reference to a welfare check on witness.

Complainant advised his tag is missing off his truck.

Deputy was requested to place a call to complainant in reference to a child custody issue. C/p explained that it was the father’s/offender’s weekend to pick up their minor child and he refused to do so. C/p also explained that offender refuses to pay child support as ordered by the court. Deputy informed c/p that this is a civil matter, and she would have to pursue it through the court.

Deputy responded to S. Main St. in reference to a locked vehicle. Vehicle was unlocked with no damages.

Deputy responded to Mojo’s Wine and Spirit in reference to a locked vehicle. Vehicle was unlocked with no damages.

Deputy responded to W. Church St. in reference to a locked vehicle. Vehicle was unlocked with no damages.

Deputy met with complainant on Moore Station Rd. in reference to a male subject calling c/p with threatening phone calls to do bodily harm to c/p and his son about two vehicles c/p’s son is selling in Hawkinsville. C/p was advised to go to the Magistrate Court with this matter.

June 17

Deputy responded to Enmarket in reference to a locked vehicle. Vehicle was unlocked with no damages.

Deputy was dispatched to Fairground Rd. in reference to an alarm. Key holder advised everything was secure.

Deputies assisted GSP with an accident on Hwy 1 North bypass.

June 18

Deputy was dispatched to I16 in reference to a female walking on the shoulder of the interstate.

Deputy was dispatched to Winter St. in reference to a female calling 911 stating she needed help and 911 lost contact.

Deputy was dispatched to Villa River Properties in reference to an alarm and then key holder advised no one should be at the location. All doors and windows were checked and found to be secure with no signs of tamper or forced entry.

Deputy responded to Sunset Dr. in reference to stolen property. Complainant advised someone went to his residence while he was away overnight and stole several items. C/p stated the battery in his vehicle had been taken, along with a new battery in his boat and a tackle box with three road and reels had been taken from his boat. C/p stated only three people knew he was going to be gone overnight.

Deputy was dispatched to Leman Rd. in reference to a vehicle in the ditch. Deputy observed the vehicle down a deep ditch with no one around. The vehicle had a Bulloch Co. tag and no contact could be made with registered owner so the vehicle was towed.

Complainant was traveling on Meadowlake Parkway when he observed a handgun in a holster in the road. C/p stopped and picked it up and turned it over to ECSO.

Deputies were dispatched to Singh’s Food Mart in reference to an alarm. The front door was found to be unsecured, and it appeared as though the door had been locked improperly, allowing it to easily be pulled open. The bolt for the lock was in the lock position but not secured in thee frame of the other door, causing it to overlap onto the door frame. Contact was made with the owner who had an employee meet deputies at the location. Deputies cleared the building finding no persons inside or sigs of tamper or theft.

Deputies were dispatched to Jay’s Place in reference to a residential alarm.

Deputies responded to N. Second St. in Stillmore in reference to someone entering the house that was not welcome there. Deputy spoke with complainant who stated his uncle/offender had entered the residence through a garage window and knocked stuff over in the residence and found offender on the back porch. C/p stated offender went across the street behind a business and he was located and returned to the residence where it was discovered that he had been criminally trespassed from in March. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

June 19

Deputies were dispatched to Canoochee-Garfield Rd. for a reckless driver. 911 advised the vehicle was a pick-up truck that was involved in a prior incident on the same road and had left the area prior to deputy’s arrival and negative contact was made. Deputies were advised the vehicle was traveling toward Kite. Due to previous encounters, deputy was aware that the tag on the vehicle did not belong on the vehicle and advised SPD officers. Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle on N. Main St. Upon deputy’s arrival, the stop was turned over to them. The driver was asked about the tag and admitted it belongs to another vehicle. Upon checking the VIN on the pick-up truck, it was found to have suspended registration. Deputy gained verbal consent to search the vehicle and found a rolled dollar bill containing a powdery residue substance and a folded dollar bill containing a white powdery substance was located in an organizer on the driver side visor and the driver admitted that the substance inside the dollar bills was meth. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
