July 28

Deputy observed a vehicle with no headlights working, at which time he made a traffic stop. Deputy was advised by 911 that offender’s license are suspended and offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy observed a vehicle with dark tinted windows, at which time he initiated a traffic stop to check the tint. Deputy advised offender the tint is too dark and was advised by 911 that offender was possibly wanted. Deputy confirmed with Treutlen Co. that offender waw wanted and transported him to EmCo Jail.

July 30

Deputy responded to PruittHealth in regards to stolen money. Complainant stated while taking a nap on 7/25, someone went in his sleep pants and took $90 and advised the cameras were reviewed and the only person that went in his room was a nurse aid and she left with a small trash bag. C/p stated Pruitt Headquarters promised to send him his money on 7/28 and he has not received it and wants someone arrested. Deputies then spoke with HR and was advised that they did look into the complaint but could not find any reason to believe someone took the money nor that c/p ever had the money. She stated that in order to calm the c/p, headquarters would send him a check and it should have been there Friday but did not arrive but expected it to arrive in the next couple of days. Deputies then spoke to c/p and advised him that sometimes the mail is late and things happen beyond control but if he did not get the check by 8/2, he would need to see Magistrate Court.

July 31

Complainant reported his tag lost or stolen. C/p stated he traded the vehicle and isn’t sure if his wife took it off or if they misplaced it.

Complainant stated a tire appeared rolling down Hwy 56 and struck his vehicle. C/p stated he didn’t see if the tire came off of a vehicle or a trailer and it caused minor damage to his vehicle.

Deputy responded to a call regarding a phone being left in a residence that did not belong to the owner of the residence or anyone staying there. Deputy met with complainant who stated he found a cell phone in the house that was not his or anyone else who lives there. C/p also advised there were no signs of forced entry and no items were missing from the residence.

Deputy took a report regarding property being stolen from Williams Rd. Complainant stated he noticed his chainsaw was missing off the back porch and provided a receipt from the pawn shop showing it was pawned by offender on 7/20.

Deputy took a report regarding threats being made. Complainant stated offender was upset that he was evicted and posted on Facebook that he was going to burn c/p’s house down.

August 1

Deputies were dispatched to Griffin Ferry Rd. in reference to a male subject showing up to a home badly beaten. Deputies spoke with complainant who advised he was awaken by victim beating on his door. C/p stated when he opened the door, he noticed blood on victim’s head and victim was very confused. Deputies then spoke with the victim who advised he got jumped in Metter. Victim stated he didn’t know who done it or where it happened, and he didn’t want anything done about it, he just wants to leave Georgia. EMS arrived to check the victim and he refused treatment and transport.

Deputy met with complainant who stated he received his VA benefits and money was taken from his card. C/p advised he contacted the bank and they stated the funds were sent to a Cashapp with a given name. C/p stated he does not know the person and never had any transactions with him before and there are no accounts under that name in his transaction history. C/p advised there were nine transactions that amounted to $200.

Motorist was assisted with a locked vehicle on S. Main St.

Deputy responded to Wheeler Dr. in reference to an alarm. Contact was made with the property owner who advised everything was ok.

August 2

Deputies were dispatched to Fairway Dr. in reference to a 911 hang-up call. 911 advised they were not able to get the caller back on the line. Deputy met with the homeowner and was advised all was well and the call was made on accident.

Deputy was dispatched to the Probation Office in reference to picking up offender. Deputy took custody of offender and transported him to EmCo Jail.

Deputies arrived on Findley Cemetery Rd. for the purpose of serving an outstanding arrest warrant on offender. Offender was taken into custody after trying to hide inside the residence. Other offenders were staying at the residence and found to have outstanding arrest warrants as well. All four offenders were taken into custody and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy unlocked a vehicle for the third time on Gumlog Rd. with no damages.

Deputy was dispatched to Edgewood Rd. in reference to a nuisance animal. Complainant stated the bulldog has been going in her yard and tried to attack one of her dogs, and believes it belongs to her neighbor. Deputy made contact with the neighbor who stated she has seen the same dog but is not sure who it belongs to. Animal Control was notified.

Deputy was dispatched to Cross Jones Rd. for a report.

Deputies responded to S. Church St. in Adrian in reference to a dispute between brothers. Victim stated his brother/offender struck him in the head with a light shade off a ceiling fan. Victim had a large laceration on the top of his head. Deputy found the ceiling fan laying in the living room, along with broken pieces of the light shade. Offender had left the scene prior to deputy’s arrival.

August 3

Deputy was dispatched to W. 4th Ave. in reference to a welfare check.

Offender was located at EmCo Magistrate Court for a Probate Cause hearing. At the end of the hearing, offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy was dispatched to Roadway Inn for a vehicle unlock. Vehicle was unlocked without damages.

Deputy spoke to complainant by phone in reference to a report of trespassing.

Deputy was dispatched to Wincore for a vehicle unlock. Vehicle was unlocked with no damages.

Deputies were dispatched to Mt. Olivet Church Rd. in reference to cruelty to animals.

Deputy responded to Hwy 86 in reference to a stolen tractor. Complainant and his daughter stated his tractor and four-wheeler had been stolen. C/p stated the tractor was last seen about a week ago and they were at the property two days prior and noticed it was gone but thought maintenance personnel had taken it but upon contacting them, they realized it had been stolen. C/p stated the tractor had a flat tire and observed drag marks from where it was parked.

August 5

Deputy made a vehicle stop on S. Main St. to find offender had a bench warrant. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputies were dispatched to Price Williams Rd. in reference to a domestic disturbance. While enroute, deputies were advised that the female subject separated herself from the suspect by relocating down the road and the male subject was in possession of a firearm and relocated himself inside the residence. Deputies were later advised that the victim contacted a witness via cell phone during the disturbance and the witness later stated that during the phone conversation, he could hear the altercation as it occurred. Upon further investigation, both subjects were found with fresh visible superficial wounds that indicated a physical altercation ensued. Female subject was found with marks around her neck and skin abrasions on her back, along with fresh blood stains on her shirt that were discovered by EMS. The male subject was found with what appeared to be scratch marks on his face that were determined to be defensive wounds inflicted by the victim as she attempted to fight him off. Further investigation revealed several personal items belonging to the victim were found thrown out onto the front steps and lawn of the residence. It was determined that the incident ensued over a current relationship based on the fact that the victim was married at the time to the witness but had resided with suspect for the past four months. Suspect was taken into custody and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy was working traffic detail on Industrial Way and made a traffic stop to find offenders with possession of cocaine. Both offenders were transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy responded to Hwy 221 South in reference to criminal trespass. 911 advised offender to be driving a golf cart. Contact was made with offender who stated he drove on the edge of complainant’s yard in order to prove a point that they couldn’t block the right of way in which he was traveling. In previous reports on the same incident, deputy was advised that the c/p had permission form GDOT to put up a barrier or fence along the front of the residence to keep people from driving through their yard. C/p advised deputy that offender drove by one of her birdhouses she had affixed to a post and damaged it. The trooper asked offender if he had consumed any alcohol before operating the golf cart and he stated he had a few mixed drinks earlier in the evening. The trooper had offender provide a breath sample and was placed under arrest for DUI.

Complainant stated that she terminated offender the day prior and offender has started threatening physical bodily harm to c/p via c/p’s daughter’s Snapchat, and c/p showed messages that did contain threats on physical bodily harm. C/p stated she received two calls earlier in the evening from a No Caller ID, one at 7:5pm and nobody said anything and one at 9:16pm and the male subject stated, “she followed you home, be careful”, but the male caller did not identify himself and had a deep voice. C/p stated she believes the male caller to be offender’s husband either as an actual warning or as an intimidation tactic. Staff have been notified of the threats made against c/p.

Deputy responded to Blueberry Farm Rd. in reference to someone trespassing and turning the water on. Deputy met with complainant who stated someone went on her property and turned the water on to another residence on the property. C/p stated the residence is supposed to have a new well dug for its own water by the owner and the pump on the well is going to burn up from being overused. C/p stated offender has failed to get a new well and is unsure is she was living there full-time, so they turned the water off. Deputy met with offender who stated she did not cross the property line to turn the water on and that the c/p has no right to turn the water off to her residence and it has been running there for over two years and stated she can’t afford to have a new well dug at this time.

Deputy responded to Dellwood Main St. regarding a domestic dispute. Complainant stated he and offender had been arguing all afternoon and he wanted her removed from the residence and offender has only been there for a little over three weeks. When deputy spoke with offender, she sated she had been there for over two months. C/p stated he would stay with his brother next door until offender’s sister could pick her up.

August 6

Deputy responded to Red Bud Rd. in reference to damaged property. Complainant advised she is going through a child custody and the child’s father went to her residence while she was out of town and went inside and took all of their daughter’s clothing, shoes, and PS4. C/p also stated there was damage to the kitchen sink and offender turned off all the breakers in her power box, which resulted in all her food in the refrigerator to spoil and her water heater won’t come back on.

Deputies responded to Kemp Rd. in reference to damages property. Complainant advised he took his four-wheeler and SXS to offender in November for repairs and paid offender $4,028 for parts and labor and has not been able to get in contact with him. C/p stated he saw a post on FB about some fenders offender was selling and confirmed they belong on his four-wheeler. C/p got in touch with offender’s grandfather and advised him that he was going to retrieve his property and upon arrival, c/p discovered his SXS was not operational, and his four-wheeler was stripped down to the frame. Deputy made contact with offender who stated he has been working out of town and has to had time to do the repairs and the four-wheeler’s engine seized and he had the engine torn apart. C/p advised he to the ATVs for an oil seal and brake line replacement only. Offender advised that the last time he spoke with c/p was a couple of months ago due to him changing his number and social media contacts and stated he has had the ATVs for almost a year and the four-wheeler was not running at the time and advised the tires and wheels that came off the ATV had been stolen from his residence a few weeks ago. C/p recovered his ATVs and most parts and both parties were advised of the process to seek in resolving this matter.

Deputy met with complainants regarding farm equipment being stolen on Canoochee Rd. C/p’s stated that on 8/6, offender went over to haul off some items he had bought, and they came to an agreement with offender on purchasing some farm equipment and a livestock trailer for $1,200. C/p’s both stated the offender took all items agreed on and other items that were not agreed on and made contact with offender and he refuses to return the items. C/p stated she. Has pictures of the unpurchased items at offender’s residence.

Deputy responded to Kemp Rd. in reference to damaged property. Complainant advised he took his ATV to offender in November for front differential and fuel pump to be replaced and paid offender $1,000 and he had not heard from offender since then and went to recover his property on this date to discover his ATV with missing parts and sign of it sitting untouched for a while. Offender advised he has not had time to fix the ATV and claimed he had no way to contact c/p. C/p was able to recover his property and most parts and both parties were advised of the process to seek in resolving this matter.

Deputies responded to Kemp Rd. in reference to damaged property. Complainant stated that a few weeks ago, he noticed items missing from his shed behind his residence.
