May 26
Offender went to the ER because he was suicidal and they got a 10-13 on him, but before they could get a placement for him, he walked away. SPD looked for him but couldn’t find him. 911 got a call from offender’s wife/complainant who stated offender was at their residence, so deputies responded to the house. Offender was in the house, and they tried to communicate with him through the window but got no answer. Cp has cameras in the house and said it looked like offender was in the master bedroom. Major arrived and made the decision to enter to find him, so they entered through the backdoor and proceeded to the master bedroom and found offender in the bed. Offender was not aggressive and was transferred back to the ER.
May 28
Complainant stated he owns a pine straw business and offender works for him. C/p pays offender by the bale (1.60 per) and offender tells him how many bales he’s made each day. C/p stated he found out offender told him he made 1,500 more bales that the total number available and has been overpaid by $2,400. C/p knows offender did this intentionally to get more money due to offender stealing bales from in the past.
Deputies were dispatched to Hereford Farm Rd. to assist. Complainant stated offender wanted to kill herself and cut herself with a kitchen knife and took a lot of pills. EMS transported her to EMC.
May 29
Deputy took a report in reference to a stolen vehicle. Victims purchased the vehicle in Jacksonville, FL, and had been in contact with the owner of the dealership who sold her the vehicles had been reported stolen, but neither showed up as stolen through GCIC. One victim stated she wanted nothing further to do with the vehicles and they were stored in EmCo Jail impound for storage. Contact was made with deputy who explained there had been five separate incidents of the same nature with the dealership.
Deputy met with complainant in reference to damage to property. C/p stated appx. 20 yards of fence to a cattle field along Hwy 80 E was damaged by a vehicle leaving the roadway. Damage incurred is estimated to be appx. $1,000.
May 30
Complainant stated due to ongoing issues in an estate dispute between her and her late husband’s family, she wanted to report that a relative of the deceased drove by her place of business and blew her horn as she passed by.
Complainant reported that $700 in $100 dollar bills was stolen from her car while parked at her house on Hwy 56 N. C/p advised she believes it to be her sister-in-law because she was in the car earlier that day.
May 31
A report was made in reference to an ATV accident that was reported to have occurred in the area of GLS near Mill Pond Rd. Deputy spoke with the mother of the juvenile and advised that the juvenile was the only one involved and was taken to EMC ER by POV.
June 1
Complainant stated offender broke the driver side window of her vehicle after he got mad during an argument.
