June 8
Deputy received a call for service in reference to an ATV crash near Old Wadley Rd. and Hawhammock Church Rd. While enroute, deputy was advised that the male juvenile involved was taken POV to EMC ER, so he went to the ER to try to make contact with the victim. Deputy spoke with the mother who stated her son was going to a friend’s house to go fishing. Deputy attempted to speak with the juvenile, but he was in a bit of pain and unable to answer many questions. Juvenile sustained several injuries and complained of ankle pain. It appeared as though he lost control of his ATV causing it to flip on its side and ejecting him from the ATV.
Deputy observed a vehicle at the dumpsite on Hwy 192 and observed a male subject exit and begin sifting through the dumpsters, at which time he made contact with him and issued him a verbal warning. Consent was given to search the vehicle and a glass pipe and meth was found. Deputy contacted the EmCo Drug Unit, and the case was turned over to them.
June 9
Victim stated she is receiving threatening messages from offender.
Victim stated she has a Family Violence Protective Order against offenders and as she was backing out of her driveway, offenders rode by, slowed down and looked at her.
June 10
Investigator received a Flock camera alert to a stolen vehicle pulling a gooseneck trailer. Inv. had 911 run the plate through GCIC who confirmed the truck was reported stolen from Bryan Co. Officers located the vehicle close to Summertown and a white van following the stolen vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. It was discovered that the gooseneck trailer was also stolen. All three male subjects were taken into custody.
Victim stated her residence on Halls Bridge Rd. is vacant due to being under renovation and several material items were missing including a hot water heater valued at $800, three storm proof windows valued at $1,650, 60 pieces of sheetrock valued at appx. $1,140 and an a/c unit valued at $600. Victim stated while she was there, she was contacted by a male subject who asked her what all she had missing and she found it to be peculiar due to the fact that the incident had just recently occurred and no one else should have known that anything was taken from the property.
June 12
Victims stated they have been seeing strange individuals walking up and down Keas Old Mills Pond at all times of the day and night wearing heavy clothing and backpacks. Victims stated one individual is and ex-brother-in-law and they are scared of him. Victim also stated they have heard gunshots in the around the house. Deputy talked to investigator who stated he has had dealings with the individual and will look into it.
Deputy was dispatched to a two vehicle MVA. Driver of one vehicle seemed dazed but reported no injuries. While speaking with him, deputy observed his eyes were glassy and bloodshot and his speech was slow and deliberate, and observed an odor of alcohol consumption on his breath. When deputy went to observed the damage to the vehicle, he observed an open container of beer in the driver door pocket and behind the driver seat. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Deputy was dispatched to I16 in reference to vehicle damage. Complainant stated a semitruck blew a tire and pieces struck the front of her vehicle.
June 12
Deputy was dispatched to I16 in reference to a single MVA. Driver stated he lost control after hitting standing water and struck a cable barrier.
June 14
Deputy responded to Hereford Circle in reference to a shooting.
June 15
Deputy was dispatched to Woodchuck Rd. in reference to a a male on complainant’s front porch screaming and crying and beating on the door. As deputy arrived, he saw a male lying face down in the grass. As deputy walked up to the male subject, c/p opened the door and stated the male busted his window, so he shot at him. Deputy then observed blood droplets on the steps and notified 911 that the homeowner may have shot the male subject. Deputy rolled the male subject over and noticed a small hole in the top of his left peck area and notified 911 to have EMS enroute. The subject had slow breaths as deputy started CPR until EMS arrived and took over. Scene was turned over to investigator for further investigation.
Complainant stated someone used her identity to enroll in Post University in Waterbury, CT.
Deputies responded to Waldon Way in reference to a disturbance of shots fired. Offender stated he rode by the neighbor’s house on a SXS and their dogs chased him and when he returned home, he walked down the road and got into a heated argument with the neighbor. Offender then fired off a shot into the ground towards one of the dogs then went back up the road. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
June 16
Complainant stated she realized her 9mm was missing from her center console.
Deputies responded to Ed Youmans Rd. in reference to an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, EMS was loading him in the ambulance, so investigator spoke with complainant about what happened and she stated they had been at the hospital due to victim throwing up black stuff and had not been home long when c/p heard him kinda vomit and was unresponsive. C/p stated she pulled him onto the floor and began CPR. C/p later told investigator that victim had taken some pills that he purchased from a Vape Store over the counter.
June 17
Deputies and SPD units responded to Modoc Rd. in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, victim advised her brother/offender fled into a nearby wooded area. Victim stated she and her brother got into an argument that led to him hitting her in the head with his fist. Deputy observed victim’s eye to be severely swollen and began to swell shut. Police K-9 was called out with negative contact on offender.
Investigator received a report from complainant who stated that after attending a court hearing involving offender, she was advised to give offender’s family sufficient time to leave the premises. C/p stated she waited for several minutes then exited the courthouse and observed offender’s family members still in the parking lot. C/p advised she did not engage with them but as she entered her vehicle and left, they entered their vehicles and followed her. C/p advised that she has heard offender’s family is upset with her and requested documentation in the event she seeks a TPO.
June 18
Deputy responded to Mitzi Ln. in reference to caller stating she was receiving threatening messages from offender. Complainant stated she had been dealing with Investigators in reference to a male
subject who did some work at her residence and they had words. C/p showed deputy a text from offender about things coming to her, however deputy did not observe any direct threats in the messages. C/p stated she is in fear of her life due to offender’s previous behaviors and stated he is very dangerous.
June 19
Victim stated offender has been posting stuff on social media about her and harassing her over a problem that offender had with her husband and she wants her name off social media and for offender to stop harassing her.
Victim stated he sent some messages to offender’ wife a few years ago through social media and offender had got into the account and is posting the on social media for everyone to see. C/p also stated offender is saying things about him and his wife on social media and he wants the posts taken down and the harassment to stop.
June 20
Deputy spoke with complainant who state his ex-fiancé stole the engagement ring he gave her. C/p stated the ring was his grandmother’s ring and was a family heirloom and offender pawned it. Deputy spoke with offender who stated this has been an ongoing situation to the point that c/p has threatened her and her family.
Deputy responded to Red Roof Truck Stop in reference to a missing semitruck. Deputy was advised to locate the truck and have the driver removed and another driver was on the way to take possession of the truck. The truck was stopped on I16, and the driver was highly intoxicated. Driver was turned over to GSP.
