April 27

Complainant called the office and stated that two dogs came onto her property and injured one of her goats. She was advised that if the dogs came back that Animal Control would be contacted.

The victim stated that she had a verbal agreement with offender to do some work on her house. She stated that the offender did not do well and did not even finish the work. Contact was attempted by the victim to try to get the work fixed and the offender has not showed up.

April 28

Complainant states that his son, offender, has been living with him and using drugs. He advised that he and his wife have been trying to help him, but he no longer wants him at the residence. Offender was advised that if he returned, he would be criminally trespassed.

Complainant called the office and stated that she left her residence for around an hour and returned and found where someone had broken her lock on her front door.

The complainant’s husband came to the Sheriff’s office to report that they purchased a vehicle and somehow the tag was lost in the mail.

Deputy observed offender sifting through the dumpsters on Whippoorwill Road. Upon approaching him he asked for identification and offender was found to have a suspended license. While in the patrol unit deputy noticed offender close the back hatch on their vehicle. K9 was released and offender fled on foot. Vehicle was searched and marijuana was located. Warrants will be taken out on offender.

April 29

Deputy was performing traffic enforcement and observed a vehicle with a brake light out. A traffic stop was conducted and marijuana was located. Offender was arrested.

April 30

Deputies were dispatched to Lake Luck Drive and Society Street in reference to a large crowd with people fighting. Upon arrival there was a male that was very irate and using profanity towards officers. Offender was arrested.

Deputy met with the victim on Buckwill Drive in reference to a domestic dispute. The victim stated that her boyfriend threw a Monster energy drink can and hit her in the face. The victim was showing fresh signs of abuse under the right eye. Offender was arrested.

May 1

The victim stated he got a notice from the VA stating that he made too much per year to get assistance. He stated that he is on disability and did not make near as much as what was stated, he thinks someone is using his ID.

Deputy observed a vehicle pull into a dumpsite and the occupants begin sifting through the dumpsters. After leaving, a traffic stop was conducted where drugs were located. All offenders were arrested.

May 2

Deputy responded to Old Metter Road in reference to an animal complaint. C/p stated that her children were outside playing with their dog when the neighbor dog attacked the dog. The owners of the attacking dog offered to pay for vet bills.

May 3

Officer was dispatched to Drew Bennett Road in reference to an irate female. C/p stated her mother was intoxicated and became irate when she wouldn’t give her the keys to her vehicle. C/p stated that her mother punched a window in her residence causing the glass to break. Offender was arrested.
