March 23

Deputies was dispatched to Spivey Ln. in reference to someone taking money. Complainant stated she hired someone to level and paint her house and she paid him $20,000 for the work and material. C/p advised she was told by someone that offender took the material back and pocketed the money and has not returned to finish the job.

March 25

Deputies assisted SPD with serving an arrest warrant on Lewis St. Offender ran out the back door and a deputy issued his taser. Offender was taken into custody after a brief foot chase.

Victim contacted deputy and stated someone loosened her oil filter on her car and most of the oil had drained out before she realized it. Victim also stated someone loosened the transmission plug and oil filter on her son’s truck on two different dates. Cameras were put up and offender was seen entering her yard at 3 a.m. getting under the truck. Victim and her son both identified offender. The truck is damaged and will not change out of third gear.

March 27

Complainant conducted a walk-in report in reference to a tag that never arrived in the mail.

March 28

Deputy was dispatched in reference to a burglary. Complainant and his mother stated someone had been on the property of their old home place and removed various items and believes offender is removing items and selling them as scrap metal.

March 30

Deputy met with complainant in reference to harassing communication. C/p stated she received several messages from offender described as being degrading in nature towards c/p of which some photos of c/p were being altered by offender.

Deputies responded to Pinetucky Rd. in reference to a fight and shots fired. Complainant advised offenders are brothers and they had been drinking alcohol all day and one got mouthy with the other one and they started fighting. C/p advised one offender shot in the air then the two were separated.

March 31

Deputies responded to Hwy 192 South in reference to a domestic dispute. Complainant stated his father threatened to kill him and busted someone’s windshield. C/p also stated offender had been intoxicated for the past few days and has been using meth. C/p stated his friends met him at his residence and left their vehicle at c/p’s residence and rode to an event together. C/p stated they were headed back and observed the vehicle pass by them at a high rate of speed so they turned around and followed it. The driver stopped in Stillmore and it was discovered that the driver was c/p’s father/offender. Deputies spoke with offender who denied having any physical altercation with his son. When asked about him taking the truck without permission, he stated he did and figured “why not, the keys were in it and I needed a way to go”. Victim advised deputies he wanted to press charges so offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail
