March 22

Complainant stated that during the process of moving, their firearm went missing. She stated that she is unsure if the firearm was packed away in a different moving box or if it was stolen.

March 23

Deputy responded to Hwy 46 in reference to an abandoned vehicle that was found unoccupied on the intersection of Hwy 46 West and Hwy 1 South. Vehicle was towed.

Deputy was requested to assist GSP on the interstate with a vehicle stop. Upon arrival, GSP had the offender handcuffed and in the rear of his patrol unit. A firearm was located in the vehicle and it was later confirmed that the offender was a convicted felon. Offender was arrested.

March 24

While traveling on Canoochee Road c/p struck a dog that entered the roadway resulting in functional damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle. C/p was able to drive the car from the scene.

March 25

Deputy responded to Old Swainsboro Road in reference to a domestic dispute between both parties. Offender to the incident is the biological son of c/p and both live in the same residence. Upon arrival, offender had already left the scene. C/p stated that the incident ensued after she refused to let her son use her cell phone. He then became irate and busted out a window on the back side of the residence and later threw a grill off the back porch. The offender was located and placed under arrest. C/p stated that she did not wish to press charges but stated that she wanted to get her son help for his mental illness. Offender was charged with disorderly conduct.

March 26

Deputies assisted Swainsboro Fire Department with a vehicle fire on Hwy 80 East.

Deputies responded to a report of a single vehicle accident with injuries. C/p stated that she swerved to miss an animal and wrecked her vehicle. She also stated that the offender was driving but left the scene and told her to say that she was driving. Deputies learned that offender did not have a valid driver’s license and was arrested. Upon a search of the vehicle a bag containing suspected marijuana and an open can of beer.

March 27

Deputies responded to Falcon Trl. In reference to a domestic dispute.

Complainant stated she was at Murphy’s getting gas when she saw offender pulling in behind her. C/p stated she has a TPO against offender and offender made eye contact with her. C/p is worried because her father looks after her and is in the hospital.

March 29

Deputies were dispatched to Wes Lawson Rd. in reference to a female being intoxicated and tearing the house up. Complainant was holding a child and advised that this has been an ongoing issue with his wife. Deputies made contact with the female hiding in the corner and after multiple verbal commands, she finally came out and was placed under arrest. The bedroom was in complete disarray. Offender was being verbally aggressive towards her husband and deputies and tried to resist. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
