March 17

Complainant filed a report in reference to a contract between him and a roofer. C/p advised he paid offender $10,300 to remove shingles and plywood and lay metal roofing and he removed the majority but has failed to complete the job and continues to give c/p false promises by failing to show up and finish the job and there is only 10-12 pieces of metal on the roof. C/p also stated offender tried to swindle him out of more money by telling him the pitch of the roof needed to be changed and stated it was not compliant with state code.

March 18

Complainant stated she has been getting harassed at work for about a year by a co-worker. C/p stated she has brought this to the attention of several supervisors and was told to report it to law enforcement.

Investigator and deputy observed a vehicle with a spider-webbed windshield stopped at the intersection of Hwy 86 and Griffin Ferry Rd. and performed a traffic stop. Deputy asked the driver for his license at which he stated he did not have them and gave his name and DOB. The driver is known to use illegal drugs and was advised to step out of the vehicle. Inv. deployed his K9 partner who gave a positive alert on the driver and passenger side. Driver advised there was a marijuana roach inside a cigarette box in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was done to find meth and the marijuana roach. Deputy observed a jacket and the driver stated it was not his and that somebody left it inside the car. Deputy began searching the jacket to find smoking devices, a Crown Royal bag containing marijuana and a wallet containing the driver’s license and personal documents inside.

March 19

Deputies responded to I16 Exit ramp 90 in reference to a disabled vehicle and driver who was having a mental health episode. Victim was telling 911 he believed someone did something to his car and stated it smelled like raspberry and he had diplomatic immunity. Victim also stated he wanted his car checked for bugs and stated he believed it was a conspiracy against him from the Golden Dome. Deputy spoke with victim who stated he was being escorted by individuals driving up to 100 MPH and insisted deputy check his vehicle for wires or bugs. Deputy noticed victim was driving an electric vehicle and he was out of charge. Victim stated he was on medication and wanted to go to the hospital. EMS was called and victim was transported to EMC ER along with his service dog and his vehicle was towed.

Deputy responded to Pendleton Springs Rd. in reference to a possible MVA. Deputy observed the vehicle in the ditch and the driver slumped over leaning towards the passenger seat. Driver turned the vehicle on to let the window down and stated he was ok. As he began to speak, deputy detected an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle and off the driver. Driver admitted to having drank alcoholic beverages prior to hitting the ditch and consented to a PBT which showed positive. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
