March 11

Deputy took a report regarding a subject leaving the scene of an accident at Red Roof Inn. Complainant stated he was inside the store when a flatbed truck hit his vehicle causing damage to the bumper. C/p stated he did not know it happened until the next morning when the owner of the store informed him of the incident that was captured on video footage and talked to offender and got his phone number. C/p tried to call offender but it went to voicemail.

Deputy arrested offender at Enmarket for active felony warrants through Jefferson County. Offender was transported to Jefferson County line and turned over to JCSO.

March 12

Deputies responded to Hwy 1 South in reference to a welfare check. The male subject was located with a bag filled with clothing and stated he had been walking for an unknown period of time from an unknown address and ended up following GPS on his cellphone to his location. He appeared to be extremely cold due to sleeping outside and was offered to sit in the back of deputy’s patrol unit while his information was run. Offender was patted down prior to getting in the patrol unit where crack cocaine, meth and a syringe was found. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy met with complainant in reference to identity theft concerning alleged suspect who is identified as a Ga. Dept. of Insurance agent. C/p stated suspect obtained her personal information from a health insurance form and used her identity for personal gain.

March 13

Deputy took a report in reference to an animal collision. Complainant stated she hit a deer causing damage to her vehicle.

March 16

Deputy met with complainant on Paradise Hills Dr. in reference to a theft. C/p stated two generators were stolen and alleged suspect is the only person who knew where both were at. Both generators are valued at $2,400.

March 17

Complainant went to ECSO and stated he lost his tag off his motorcycle.
