November 28
Deputy responded to Norristown-Covena Rd. in reference to a vehicle vs animal collision.
November 29
Complainant stated she didn’t feel safe at her home and wanted to talk to someone about it. Deputies did a walk around of the property and found nothing.
Complainant responded to Hwy 297 where complainant stated a male subject approached her about putting pine straw around her residence and she advised him to put it around the edge of her residence and asked about pricing per bale and was told it would be $7 per bale and she would not agree so they agreed upon $2.50 per bale. A few hours later, the male subject knocked on her door and was writing a bill out for services rendered. C/p stated while the male subject was writing the bill out, he mentioned his boss had been putting pine straw out around flower beds that ran close to the highway. At this time, c/p stated she refused to pay the bill and the male subject became irate and during the brief confrontation, c/p stated she was going to be charged $2.50 per string on each bale and not per bale. C/p advised the male subject she would not be paying him and for him to have his boss return the next day to discuss payment.
November 30
Complainant went to ECSO and stated her tag was mailed out on 11/14/23 and she never received it and was informed she needed a report to get a replacement.
Deputy took a report from complainant who stated she received an email saying her application for a loan for $3,100 was being reviewed but she never applied for a loan. C/p stated this is on her credit report and she had disputed it. C/p also stated she looked up the address and phone number on the application and found who it came back to and advised she had not seen this person in over 10 years, but he messaged her in July asking for money for his daughter.
December 1
Complainant went to ECSO to make a report on a burglary that occurred on Arthur Hutchison Rd. C/p stated he was not staying at the residence at the time but went to the residence to find the door was unlocked and his key was missing. C/p stated he went inside and found all his things missing. C/p explained that he believes a known male subject was the one that stole everything and has tried to help him out in the past and was providing him with a job, and the male subject randomly quit answering his calls and quit showing up for work right before his house was broken into.
December 2
Deputy responded to Waller Woods Cir. in reference to a domestic dispute. Both parties stated they had been in a verbal argument. Offender was lying in the bed and requested EMS for mental evaluation due to hearing and seeing things. EMS was requested via 911. While speaking with the victim, she stated her husband had been abusing her and attempted to rape her. Numerous calls had been answered from this address with the same complaint being made by the victim which were unfounded. Bo9th parties were intoxicated.
Deputy responded to Dellwood Store in reference to someone following the caller around. Deputy met with complainant who stated her friend’s ex/offender had been following her from town and at several times had positioned her car in front of c/p’s and stopped, trying to get c/p to stop. C/p stated offender finally turned off and quit following her and that’s when she went to the store. While speaking with c/p, her friend called and stated offender was now following him doing the same thing and trying to get him to stop. The friend informed c/p he was somewhere in the area of Pinetucky Rd., so deputies attempted to make contact with both vehicles but had no contact. Contact was finally made with offender’s vehicle. Upon speaking with offender, she appeared visibly upset and crying. She stated her mother had just passed away the day before and found out her husband had been cheating on her. Offender stated she tried to get her husband to stop so she could talk to him about the situation, but he wouldn’t stop. Deputy informed offender that her following both vehicles was very dangerous and she was not going about talking to him the right way, and she need to go home and be with family due to the death of her mother, and she agreed to go home. Appx. 35 mins. later, deputies were called back to a residence on Marlynn Dr., the residence of the friend. C/p stated offender went to the residence and threw a brick at the door then grabbed c/p’s phone from her vehicle and left with it. C/p stated they tracked the phone to be in front of the store where the location paused. C/p stated she made contact with offender who stated she did not have the phone so c/p drove by the store where she found her phone destroyed on the side of the road.
December 3
Deputy observed a vehicle traveling 89 MPH in a 70 MPH zone and swerving, at which time he initiated at traffic stop. Deputy approached the driver side of the vehicle and advised why he was being stopped. While speaking with the driver, deputy noticed his eyes were glossy and bloodshot and observed him put a piece of candy in his mouth. Deputy could smell the odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s person. Upon asking for his license, the driver stated he did not have one and presented an ID card. Deputy returned to his patrol unit and verified the registration and insurance on the vehicle, then asked the driver to step out of the vehicle. Offender was asked to perform a field sobriety by giving a breath sample and he would suck on the straw instead of blow. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
December 4
Deputy met with complainant who started working for BK on 11/7, and the debit card he was given to receive his paycheck is locked. C/p stated he called the number on the card to get the issue resolved but they said his birthday on the account is incorrect and the hiring manager had to resolve it. C/p stated he has tried calling BK to speak with the hiring manager, but no one will get back with him.
Deputy got behind a vehicle with no working tag lights and the tag was obstructed, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Deputy approached the driver side of the vehicle and informed the driver why he was being stopped. While speaking with the driver, he appeared very shaky and nervous. Deputy asked for his license, and he stated he did not have a valid license. Deputy then obtained the driver’s name and DOB and asked where he was coming from and traveling to, and he stated he was coming from New Orleans and heading towards Fort Worth. Due to the statements given, the car belonging to a different individual, and the nervousness of the driver, deputy requested assistance to deploy K9 Joules. Deputy arrived and deployed K9 Joules with positive alerts on the vehicle, but nothing was found. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail for driving while unlicensed.
