December 21

Complainant reported what she thought was an attempted burglary. C/p stated her burglar alarm went off three times and witnessed a bright light which she thought was a flashlight in her back yard and around her kitchen window. C/p requested a deputy go to her residence, and they did not find any evidence to support someone on c/p’s property.

December 22

Deputy responded to Hwy 23 S in reference to a domestic. Complainant stated her ex went to her residence tapping on her bedroom window thinking she had another male at the residence. C/p stated when offender attempted to leave, his vehicle had malfunction, so he slept in his vehicle. C/p advised she allowed offender to spend time with their minor child the following day and they went to a function and offender observed c/p talking to another male acquaintance on her phone and he became irate and began to physically hit and push her. C/p stated offender took her phone and only allowed her to text certain friends so nothing appeared out of the way and during the course of the weekend, offender continued to punch and kick her causing several abrasions and bruising to her body and would not let her leave with their child. C/p observed her tire to be slashed used it as an excuse to leave the residence with the child. C/p stated that upon getting the tire fixed at WalMart, she observed offender following her and chased her down S. Main St. until she was able to lose him and hide. C/p advised she contacted SPD for that report.

December 23

Complainant stated he was hunting and found someone cut the chain on his gate.

December 25

Deputy was dispatched to Falcon Trail in reference to a theft. Complainants stated the property was inside a vehicle outside the residence and was Christmas presents for the children. C/p 1 believes the other c/p 2 went to the residence and took the items and that c/p 2 believes c/p 1’s family members who live across the road took the items. C/p 2 stated he wished to take the children from the residence due to c/p 1 having a drinking problem.

Deputies were dispatched to Lambs Bridge Rd. in reference to complainant’s brother pulling a gun on him. C/p stated his brother/offender was angry with him about things left in the kitchen and went to c/p’s bedroom with a gun threatening him. Offender stated he threw c/po’s belongings out the back door but never had a weapon or threatened him. Owner of the residence stated he was planning to evict c/p due to constant issues, and he was advised of the eviction process. C/p agreed to leave the residence for the night to avoid further conflict.

Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 56 S in reference to an abandoned vehicle left on the property overnight. Complainant stated a vehicle was parked in his backyard near a tree and there was no one in it and the driver side door looked to be damaged. There was a purse inside the vehicle with no ID, but the vehicle came back to a female in Swainsboro.

Deputies and EMS were dispatched to Oak Grove Church Rd. in reference to a physical altercation. Victim stated she found offender had taken her clothes and was wearing them, so she told offender to give them back and offender became violent and began striking victim. Offender was taken into custody and transported to EmCo Jail.

December 26

Complainant stated someone ran over three mailboxes in front of his property.

December 27

Deputy received a call from 911 in reference to a domestic on Ben Gay Rd. stating the ex-husband was outside beating on the door. Deputies observed offender standing on the back porch and asked what he was doing and he stated he was wanting to see his child and the mother was refusing to let him see it. Offender had been advised multiple times not to go to the residence.

Deputy responded to Scuffletown Rd. in reference to a property dispute. Complainant stated the neighbor’s son went to his property and removed a barrier he had put in place to keep him off the property. Deputy observed the barrier to be laying on c/p’s car. Deputy spoke with c/p’s and observed one’s head to be bleeding, and he stated his son-in-law went inside his house and jumped on him. Deputy attempted to make contact with offender who had fled from the residence. C/p advised he wanted to press charges. Warrants were taken on offender for battery family violence and elder abuse.

Complainant stated her sister had to go to rehab due to a fall and was then going to a nursing home, so c/p was packing her sister’s belongings and found a gun. C/p advised she did not want to keep it so turned it in.

December 28

Victim stated she was walking her dog on a leash when offender’s three dogs attacked her dog. C/p stated she tried to break it up and got bit by one of the dogs. AC1 responded and took the dogs in for quarantine for 10 days due to not having rabies shots.

Deputy responded to Lewis Rd. in reference to a domestic. Complainant stated offender has exhibited ongoing rude behavior toward her and her children, and there have been prior incidents involving physical violence between the two. Offender stated an argument occurred but denied any physical contact between himself and c/p. Offender agreed to leave the residence for the night.

December 29

Deputy assisted SPD with a traffic stop on Lewis St. by performing a free air sniff on a vehicle. During the sniff, K9 Renzo showed a change of behavior by the driver side vent area. Several small hard powdery rocks were located in the driver floorboard and seat and tested positive for Fentanyl. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
