September 28

Deputies responded to Old Wadley Rd. in reference to a vehicle fire and observed a 4-wheeler approaching and attempted to stop it, but offender refused to stop and sped off. Deputy activated his emergency equipment and began to try to stop the 4-wheeler when it cut thru a neighborhood and yards on Wanda Ln. The 4-wheeler continued to flee and turned into a private driveway, where he ran off the road and hit a tree. Offender was released on citations.

Deputy spoke with complainant who stated his Mercedes was taken by a repo company, and he had proof of payment, so he wanted a report for court purposes.

September 29

Deputy observed a vehicle without any headlights or taillights, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Deputy could smell a strong odor of cover scent coming from the vehicle and the driver’s behavior was slow to react, he had droopy eyes and slurred and thick speech. During a search of the vehicle, numerous containers containing loose tobacco/marijuana, a grinder, two foam cups believed to contain Codene mixed with a beverage and schedule II pills were found. Driver and passenger were transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy was dispatched to Fish Whitehead Rd. in reference to a possible suicidal person. Upon arrival, deputy was informed that the subject left and wasn’t acting like himself.

September 30

Complainant stated he is registered on a vehicle that belongs to offender who is several months behind on the payment and wants to get the vehicle and take over the payments before it is repossessed but offender will not let him. C/p was referred to Magistrate Court.

Complainant stated a reckless driver in a semi -ruck was all over the road and kicked up a rock that hit his windshield.

October 2

Complainant reported his tag was lost.

Victim stated she saw a van pull into her yard where her dogs are kept and went to see what offender was doing and offender started asking about her dogs and if they were being taken care of. Victim stated she told offender it was not her business how she took care of her dogs and told offender to get off her property and offender stated getting irate and making threats towards victim. Deputy called AC 1 officer and asked if he had gotten any complaints about the dogs and he stated he had and went to check on them and observed they were being taken care of and had no issues. Deputy called offender and advised her not to go back on victim’s property, or she would be criminally trespassed.

Deputy observed a vehicle pulled over to the side of the road and made contact with the two male subjects. Deputy knew the passenger to have active warrants for his arrest and confirmed his info. Deputy then asked him to exit the vehicle. Upon searching him, a small clear plastic bag containing meth was located in his pants pocket. A glass pipe and schedule IV controlled substance was also found. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

October 3

Complainant stated offender took c/p’s ex-stepdaughter’s 2yo son to her house and left him. C/p stated offender was babysitting the child, and the child’s mother left her in charge of the child until Sunday. C/p stated offender just left the child on her porch, and she told offender she was calling the law on her for just leaving the child and offender said she didn’t care. C/p stated she was going to keep the child until the mother returned on Sunday but wanted it documented how offender did not care for the child.
