Emanuel County Institute’s Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) and Beta Club joined forces this holiday season to spread cheer through the 6th Annual Mayor’s Christmas Toy Drive. Participating CTSOs included FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America), and FFA (Future Farmers of America), along with members of the Junior and Senior Beta Club.
Students were encouraged to bring in new, unwrapped toys to help make the holidays brighter for children in the community. In addition, a special “dress-down day” fundraiser allowed students to donate money in exchange for a casual dress day at school, with all proceeds benefiting the toy drive.
Thanks to the generosity and teamwork of ECI’s students and staff, the groups collected many toys and raised $150, which was donated to the City of Twin City to help purchase additional gifts.
This annual effort highlights the giving spirit of ECI students and their commitment to serving their community. The collaboration between the school’s CTSOs and Senior Beta continues to make a meaningful impact—ensuring that more children experience the joy of the season.
