On December 4–5, 57 Emanuel County Institute students attended the Junior Beta State Convention in Savannah, Georgia. They competed in various events, including academic, visual, and performing arts competitions.
Every student who attended stepped up to compete, proudly representing ECI with hard work, enthusiasm, and exceptional talent. Their dedication was reflected in an impressive list of accomplishments, with several students earning top placements. Those who placed at the state level have now earned the opportunity to compete at the National Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

Addy Harrison: 1st Place – Cake Decorating; Leyla Yepe: 5th Place – 6th Grade Spanish; Ezekiel Pague: 5th Place – 7th Grade Social Studies; Hudson Ware: 3rd Place – Sculpture; Ava Underwood: 4th Place – Pottery; Grey Blackburn: 1st Place – Black & White Photography; Isabella Steptoe: 4th Place – Accessory Design; Anna Caroline Frye & Layla Clark: 1st Place – Performing Arts Dance; Anna Caroline Frye & Layla Clark: Premiere Performer Golden Ticket; Ella Jo Hooks, Chloe Best, Kabreigh Mixon, Ezekiel Pague, Addi Rich, Chelsie Grimes, Kallen Braddock, Izzy May: 5th Place – Performing Arts Small Group; Natalie Bunn, Alli Woodward, Brayden Telgen, Brooks Hall, Chancey Archer, Judson Flanders, Ab Johnson, & Hudson Ware: 5th Place – Robotics; Songfest: 2nd Place.
