Through their Helping Hands program, the ECI Bulldog Battalion JROTC cadets recently wrapped up a successful canned food drive by gathering donations to support families in need throughout the community. Cadets took the lead in organizing, promoting, and managing the drive. By setting up collection stations and encouraging classmates and staff to contribute non-perishable items, they inspired widespread participation. Thanks to their efforts, an impressive number of donations will soon be distributed to local families, just in time for the holiday season.
Leadership, service, and community involvement remain at the heart of the JROTC program. This year’s food drive showcased these values in action. Working together to support neighbors facing food insecurity, the cadets demonstrated initiative, compassion, and a strong commitment to giving back.
The ECI community is proud of the Bulldog Battalion’s hard work and dedication to making a meaningful difference.
