ECI FCCLA students earn top honors at State Competition

ECI’s FCCLA chapter competed at the State Leadership Conference, held March 25-27 in Columbus, Georgia, and achieved several top placements and national qualifications. ECI students competed in a variety of events and represented the school well through their hard work, leadership and dedication.

Brodee Cate Johnson placed 12th in the state in the High School Creed Speaking Contest. Joni Wimberly earned 9th place in Job Interview Level 2. Ella Walden delivered an impressive performance, finishing 4th in Culinary Arts Testing and 3rd in Chapter Service Project Display Level 2. Similarly, Jonna Woodward secured 1st place in Financial Literacy Testing and 3rd place in Chapter Service Project Display Level 2. Erin Stanford placed 4th in Chapter Service Project Display Level 3. Amelia Meadows finished 3rd in Chapter Service Project Portfolio Level 2. Charley Mitchell placed 3rd in Chapter Service Project Portfolio Level 2 and 1st in Nutrition and Food Science Testing.

Three ECI students qualified for the FCCLA National Leadership Conference. Samadhi Salgado, Addison Canady, and Carly Salinas each placed 2nd in Repurpose and Redesign Level 3, earning spots at the national competition.

The ECI FCCLA chapter proudly recognizes these students and their state-level accomplishments, which reflect the commitment and talent of both students and advisors.

The chapter looks forward to supporting its national qualifiers as they continue their FCCLA journey.
