East Georgia State College (EGSC) is hosting a community Homecoming event Saturday, February 25 beginning at 12 p.m. The event will conclude Homecoming Week at the college and help kick off the 50th Anniversary for EGSC.
The celebration will begin at 12 p.m. at the gymnasium on EGSC’s campus with a bounce house, rock-climbing wall, and other activities for families. At 3 p.m. the sophomore basketball players will be recognized at the start of the Homecoming game. During half time of the game, members of the 2013 GCAA State Championship Men’s Basketball Team will be recognized. The team has been invited back to campus to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the championship. Following the recognition ceremony, the EGSC Homecoming Queen and King will be announced.
