The Emanuel Arts Council Art Camp celebrated its tenth year this summer with a full house! Camp was held at Vann Community House in Swainsboro July 20-22. Art facilitators this year were Instructor Terrie Daniel and three assistants, Mark Lillquist, Atsuko Smith and Michelle Winters. EAC Summer Art Camp has been fully funded by Mill Creek Foundation since 2016. A total of 20 students in rising grades three to five attended this year free of charge.
Campers participated in numerous art assignments for all three days and were able to take home all their art. Activities included making boxes and clay pots, beaded jewelry, and mosaics. They also painted a banner thanking Mill Creek for supporting the art camp.
